I have since uninstalled/reinstalled the PC client, and although it is still not letting my drag/drop, I do seem to be able to upload a folder by clicking "upload folder" at the top of the window - which didn't work before. Phone client says I'm now "Premium", as does the Windows client - however, whenever I try to drag and drop files to the AirDroid window I just get the (\) "not allowed" mouse pointer, and further investigation shows a window that "File copy only available to prevmium users" - despite it saying I am a premium user! Discovered that that you have to pay for file transfers, so duly signed up for a month. I decided to give AirDroid a go as I've used the free version before, and I could copy stuff on via WiFi without the phone being tethered via USB cable. I suppose I could use Teracopy or something but I'm wondering if there's another problem. So I thought I'd just use Windows copy, despite the estimate of 10 hours to complete the transfer!ģ times I've tried it now, and 3 times it has got partway through and just stopped for some reason (typical Windows, you just come back to it and it's not copying, yet the data isn't all there - no errors or anything). Obviously the easiest way would be with a microSD card reader but that option is out of the window due to a lack of card slot on the phone! I have about 40-50GB of mp3 files on my NAS, trying to copy them over to my phone.
